Susheel brings 20+ years of experience working across the healthcare and life sciences value chain. At Onyx, he oversees the company’s product and services portfolio. Prior to joining Onyx, he led IBM’s healthcare and life sciences cloud application innovation business as an industry leader. He was also a client partner with HP Enterprise Service’s healthcare business and played a critical role in building Wipro’s healthcare practice. Susheel also chairs AHIP’s IT workgroup and is editor of DistilINFO Health Plan publication. He is also active contributor to LeadingAge’s Center for Aging Services Technology (CAST).
Aaron Seib
Chief Strategy Officer
Aaron possesses more than 20 years of professional health IT experience and a passion for empowering consumers through partnership with healthcare teams to use data and informatics to improve outcomes. Aaron has extensive technical and policy expertise regarding health information sharing among various stakeholders including providers, payers, consumers and research organizations. He has worked across the healthcare ecosystem with managed care organizations, disease management programs, and clinical research organizations including work at the Duke Clinical Research Organization, National Cancer Institute and Johns Hopkins.
Aaron has worked extensively on health information exchange, including his provider-to-provider focused work at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT on the Nationwide Health Information Network (now the eHealth Exchange), California’s Office of Health Information Integrity Statewide HIE initiatives, consumer directed exchange as the CEO of the National Association for Trusted Exchange, and most recently, on Blue Button 2.0 and alternate payment models at CMS. Aaron currently serves on the ONC’s FHIR At Scale Taskforce (FAST) Tiger Team for Security and the Gravity Project’s Executive Committee.
Mark Scrimshire
Chief Interoperability Officer
As the CMS Blue Button innovator and entrepreneur-in-residence, Mark architected and built the Blue Button 2.0 API for Medicare. Mark joins Onyx as Chief Interoperability Officer to promote the adoption of standards-based interoperability and access across healthcare. Mark is active in the HL7 community and is author of the HL7 Da Vinci Payer Data Exchange Implementation Guide. He brings his passion for improving consumer access to their health information and his experience delivering solutions for payers and global companies (such as 3M) to Onyx as it builds market-leading, secure platforms that deliver real interoperability at scale in healthcare.
Edward Yurcisin
Chief Product Officer
Edward is the Chief Product Officer at Onyx Health where he focuses on designing and creating products for organizations to drive healthcare data interoperability. Edward is the former Chief Data Officer at CareJourney where he led the interoperability practice, delivering digital transformation strategies and roadmaps to improve value-based patient care for payers and providers. Prior to CareJourney, he was CIO at PeraHealth where he led the software engineering and implementation efforts to productize the Rothman Index, a measure of patient acuity. His team developed leading-edge mobile, telehealth, and analytics solutions for measuring patient deterioration and early sepsis detection. Edward was also a member of the founding leadership team at MicroStrategy where he held various positions including vice president of customer management, leading the advanced analytics division. Edwards holds Bachelors’ degrees in economics and political science from Duke University.
